Zhihua Xiao
CEO
Dr. Zhihua Xiao is the founder and CEO of Shanghai OPM Bioscience Co., Ltd. Zhihua obtained his Ph.D. from the University at Buffalo in 2007, and with over 25 years of extensive experience in mammalian cell culture and therapeutic drug development, Zhihua plays an instrumental role in guiding the company's growth and innovation.
Prior to founding OPM Bioscience, Zhihua held various roles at Life Technologies Corporation, advancing from scientist to Senior Research and Development Manager and Process Science Fellow, from 2007 to 2013. His journey continued as he took on the role of Senior Director of Biologics at Chempartner in 2013, where he expertly oversaw critical aspects of Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC). His leadership encompassed the entire process, from cell line development to pilot manufacturing, showcasing his commitment to advancing the field of biopharmaceuticals.
Yunfen (Fiona) He
President, OPM US
Dr. Yunfen (Fiona) He earned her Ph.D. in biophysics from the University at Buffalo in 2009. Following her studies, Fiona contributed as a research scientist at the NorthEast Structural Genomics Consortium (NESG), where she honed her skills in structural biology. In 2013, she advanced to ChemPartner, taking on the role of Senior Scientist and later becoming the Principal Scientist leading the analytical services team, which plays a crucial role in supporting biotherapeutic drug discovery and development.
In 2016, Fiona joined Shanghai OPM Bioscience Co., Ltd., where she demonstrated her leadership capabilities through various roles, including R&D Director, Vice President of CDMO, and Deputy General Manager. Her diverse experiences have culminated in her current position as the President of OPM Biosciences Inc. USA, where she continues to drive innovation and excellence in the biopharmaceutical field.
